Using Dog Therapy Music Training for Calmness

USING MUSIC WITH PUPPY TRAINING SINCE 2017

Animals respond to calm music! We’ve been using our Dog Therapy Music with Pups during crate training and traveling . The music combines mama dogs happy sounds. This is a type of Music Imprinting for calm Routine training that we’ve developed at Laladoodles.

I’ve always wondered if there’s a better solution to our dog litter box area. As a breeder of over 12 years, i am obsessed over our dogs and puppies , so i am always on the look out for anything new and amazing to help our dogs/pups lives and make my dog breeding life easier . I have learned from other breeders how to litter box train young puppies, but the hardest part was searching for the right litter box tray or box to use for our pups for indoor use. I’ve used 2.75 inch high metal boxes for years and it worked out ok , so i guess i’ve been so used to all the wood pellets scattering . But i would always dread as pups reached 7 weeks of age , for at that period they start to drag their toys into the litter box and there would be always a pup or 2 that enjoyed romping around and playing in it, so the chore would double!

When i found this large dog litter box online mentioned on a site, i felt that it was the best day of my life! I thought to myself- this can change my dog breeding life forever! But then i found out it was sold out for a long while! So i was so glad i was able to contact the company and turned out they were just about getting ready to have this up online again! I waited daily, messaged daily, and finally it was up for sale yahoo! I felt like i had won the lotto, weird huh- but i literally jumped for joy when i received it in mail! I love this so much that i felt it was wrong to not share this info.

The thing is, i don’t think many dog breeders know about this litter box- because i’ve never seen another dog breeder use this ( and i have searched high and low, read so many articles, searched other breeders videos/photos )- as this litterbox was originally made for mini pigs!! Yes, MINI PIGS, goats, guinea pigs, and ferrets, small animals up to 150 lbs. This is a dog breeders dream come true -we have finally upgraded to a large pup litter box!

That’s me sitting in it, right next to our older box. It’s really larger than it looks in the image. It’s made of high quality durable plastic and it’s high sides help keep in pellets from scattering. I like how it looks more appealing than a metal tray or plastic bin. Can a puppy dog litter box be sexy black, yes this is! It certainly looks way more professional than the plastic bins, boot trays, or metal pans i’ve used.

I am always looking for the next greatest thing to help in dog breeding life, and for sure this is it! I hope this helps out someone looking to make life easier for pups potty training! Less headache! lol i know alot of dog breeders would be interested in this, and new pups families would find that this litter box would make for a less stressful transition to their new homes .

Guardian Family Opportunity

  1. Guardian Home Program

WHAT IS A GUARDIAN HOME?

Here at LaLa Doodles we feel that in order to succeed as an exceptional breeder of Australian Labradoodles, and to properly develop the breed, it requires us to have a number of dogs in our breeding program. It is our goal to successfully further and develop our lines while having our breeding dogs live in a family environment. We have found that the Guardian Home Program is the best way to accomplish this. This is a very unique program that allows our breeding dogs to live as loved family members with our locally selected families while participating in our breeding program. This is our way of ensuring that our breeding dogs live with their families in forever homes and still participate in the future development of our LaLa Doodles Australian Labradoodles under our watchful eye.

The program is only available to families and individuals who live within a reasonable distance from Seattle, Washington. We ask that you assess your lifestyle, reliable transportation and permanency in the area to ensure that you are able to meet the requirements of caring for a pet, but also meeting the requirements of the Guardian Home Program agreement.

Any breeding related medical costs for the Guardian Dog are the expense of LaLa Doodles. Our Guardian Homes are only responsible for routine maintenance and medical care just as they would if they had their own dog.

Guardian puppies that enter our breeding program will begin producing between 18 and 24 months of age. When a female Guardian dog is in season, the Guardian Family is required to contact us immediately. An intact female usually has a heat cycle that will last between 14 and 21 days. During this time, we will need access to her for breeding related appointments and we may have her stay in our home for a period during this time.  Once she has been bred, she will remain with her Guardian Family until one week before her due date. At that time, the Guardian dog will come back to stay with us for the remainder of her pregnancy and whelping, and will be returned once her pups are fully weaned at 8 weeks of age. Breeding Female Guardian pets Co own for 1-3 litters , Breeding Male Guardian pets Co own for 2 years  . Guardian Families are welcomed and encouraged to visit with scheduled appts while their Guardian Dog is at LaLa Doodles.

Male dogs must be available for breeding when we have a matched female in heat.  We may bring the female to the Guardian family’s home for breeding, or we may bring the male to our house.

All breeding rights belong to LaLa Doodles and no breedable dogs of the opposite sex are allowed in the same home with the co-owned puppy.

After your dog has fulfilled the requirements under the Guardian Home Program, you agree to spay/neuter them, and they continue to live with your family in their forever home. Once your Guardian pet is spayed/neutered, the security fee will be refunded.

You must have a safe and secure environment for a Guardian Home dog to ensure their safety and health. While we prefer families with previous dog ownership experience, we are happy to work closely with families and individuals who are new to dog ownership. Our Guardian Home Program dogs are to be kept as house pets and family members.

Guardian Home Requirements:

  • Live within a reasonable driving distance from Seattle, Washington
  • Provide a fully secure fenced yard
  • Feed only quality food
  • Provide basic obedience training, proper socialization to people, children and dogs
  • Understand the issues and responsibilities of caring for a breeding dog
  • Willingness to return the dog to LaLa Doodles during breeding appts, whelping  & weaning of pups
  • Agree to regular health, veterinary care and vaccinations
  • Communicate freely with LaLa Doodles about the health Andrew conditions of the dog

Benefits of Being a Guardian Home:

  • Receive the best quality breeding puppy chosen by LaLa Doodles
  • Discounts to guardian family wanting an additional puppy from LaLa Doodles
  • Providing a breeding dog a family for LIFE, never experiencing life in a kennel or being re-homed after they are retired

The Guardian Home program is actually a very simple program even though it may seem like there are a lot of details. The main thing to remember is that there is no better way than the guardian home program to help reputable breeders continue to breed dogs in a humane and loving environment and out of cages so in order to continue to produce HAPPY and HEALTHY puppies for families who are looking for a forever pet.
